What is arthritis?

What are the triggers of arthritis?

The triggers of arthritis include: 

  • at  rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, collagen vascular diseases and vasculitis: autoimmune, rheumatological diseases
  • in bacterial and septic arthritis: colonization by germs from outside (e.g. due to an accident) or “washed up” with the blood (e.g in gonorrhea or Lyme disease) 
  • in reactive arthritis: bacterial infections (often gastrointestinal or “cystitis germs”) due to an already existing rheumatological disease

What are possible symptoms of arthritis?

The typical side effects of arthritis are Joint pain that is mainly noticeable in the morning and persists even when resting. The pain improveswith exercise or exposure to cold.
