The vascular health check is an important preventive examination for early detection of risks such as arteriosclerosis or high blood pressure. Modern diagnostics make it possible to identify signs of vascular diseases at an early stage — long before symptoms occur.
The process includes a medical consultation about individual risk factors, the collection of blood pressure, heart rate and BMI, and a blood test for relevant values such as cholesterol and triglycerides. The examination is supplemented by an ultrasound measurement of the carotid artery (IMT), which makes initial vascular changes visible.
