Who needs vaccinations for immunodeficiency?
People with weakened immune system — whether through congenital immunodeficiency, HIV, ongoing chemotherapy, or after organ transplantation — need particularly careful vaccination protection. Some live vaccines must be avoided in these patients, while other vaccinations should be given more frequently. We advise you individually together with your treating specialists and create your personal vaccination plan.
What Should I Do Next?
Would you like to find out whether vaccinations are possible despite your pre-existing conditions, or are in fact especially important? Simply book an appointment for a vaccination status review at one of our avi practices and discuss this with our medical team. The team will advise you in detail on whether you are sufficiently protected or whether you should receive a vaccination.
