    What is the Heart and Cardiovascular Check-up?

    Our Heart and Cardiovascular Check-up is specifically tailored to early detection of cardiovascular risk factors. It includes ECG, ultrasound of the heart, comprehensive blood lipid analysis including specific markers like Lp(a) and ApoB, blood pressure measurement, and individual risk assessment. Particularly recommended for people with family history of heart disease, men over 45, women over 50, and anyone who wants to actively invest in their cardiovascular health.

    Frequently asked questions: Heart & Cardiovascular Check-up

    For people aged 40 and over, anyone with cardiovascular disease in the family and anyone who wants to know their personal risk and take targeted preventive action. It is not the right choice for acute symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath: call 112 immediately.

    We discuss your medical history and lifestyle and give you a physical examination. Depending on your needs, we add extended blood tests, for example blood lipids, and an exercise ECG. Afterwards we go through the results and what you can do for your heart.

    The avi heart and circulation check-up is a self-pay service and costs from €249. Separately, statutory health insurance covers the general health check-up every three years from the age of 35, which checks blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol, among other things.
