Who are the “30 Plus” and “35 Plus” check-ups for?

Our two exclusive preventive care packages were developed specifically for fully insured SIGNAL IDUNA customers: Check-up 30 Plus: tailored to policyholders aged 30 to 34. Check-up 35 Plus: an even more comprehensive package, optimised for all policyholders aged 35 and over. Our tip: we recommend choosing the package that matches your age, as the examinations and lab values are tailored to your particular stage of life.

I am younger than 30 – can I still use the check-ups?

Yes, you can of course be examined at the practice before the age of 30 as well. Because our special preventive care packages are medically tailored to age groups from 30 onwards, the practice will first issue you a regular invoice under the German scale of fees for physicians (GOÄ). You can then submit this invoice to us for reimbursement as usual. Please note that different statutory preventive care intervals apply below the age of 30. For this reason we assess reimbursement for customers under 30 individually and on the basis of the terms of your personal tariff.

Everything works just like at any other medical practice. The treatment contract is concluded between you and Avi Medical. You receive an invoice under the GOÄ, which you pay directly to Avi Medical and submit to us for reimbursement according to your tariff. Please check in advance whether your tariff includes any individual restrictions.

What happens if the doctor suggests additional examinations?

The check-up package covers all agreed services (examinations and laboratory) in full. Should you wish for services beyond that or require additional medical treatment, Avi Medical will invoice these separately. You can submit this additional invoice to us for reimbursement according to your tariff as usual.

Alongside the range of services, data security is one of the most important criteria when we select our partners. Your data is of course safe with Avi Medical. All personal data and above all your health data remain with your Avi Medical doctor. They are bound by medical confidentiality and grant neither us nor any other third party access to your data.
