    These 20 values are analysed

    5 valuesLipid
    • Lipoprotein (a)

Lipoprotein(a) is genetically determined and an independent cardiovascular risk factor.

    • Apo B

Apo B is a component of LDL and a precise marker for cardiovascular risk.

    • LDL cholesterol

LDL is the “bad” cholesterol – it promotes plaque buildup and should be low.

    • HDL cholesterol

HDL is the “good” cholesterol – it protects vessels and should be high.

    • Triglycerides

Triglycerides are blood fats. High levels raise heart disease risk.

    1 valueInflammation
    • High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)

hsCRP is a marker for low-grade chronic inflammation. Elevated levels may indicate silent inflammation linked to cardiovascular diseases.

    3 valuesMetabolism
    • HOMA Index

The HOMA index assesses insulin resistance and helps identify early risk of diabetes.

    • HbA1c (Glycated hemoglobin)

HbA1c reflects the average blood glucose level over the past 8–12 weeks.

    • Glucose

Glucose is the primary blood sugar and provides energy for cells and organs.

    3 valuesHormones
    • Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH)

TSH controls the thyroid and regulates the production of fT3 and fT4. Abnormal levels can indicate either hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.

    • Insulin

Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar. Elevated levels may indicate insulin resistance or a diabetes risk.

    • DHEAS

DHEAS is a precursor of sex hormones, influencing mood, energy, and aging processes.

    3 valuesVitamins & Minerals
    • Vitamin D

Vitamin D supports bones, muscles, and the immune system. A deficiency can lead to various health issues.

    • Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid essential for brain, eye, and nervous system function.

    • Ferritin

Ferritin reflects the body’s iron stores. Low levels often indicate iron deficiency.

    3 valuesLiver & Kidney
    • Creatinine (including eGFR)

Creatinine and GFR assess kidney function. Changes may signal kidney impairment.

    • Alanine aminotransferase (ALT)

ALT is a liver enzyme. Elevated levels can indicate liver cell damage.

    • Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST)

AST is another liver enzyme, but may also rise in heart or muscle disorders.

    1 valueBlood Count
    • Complete blood count (8 Parameters)

The complete blood count provides a detailed view of red and white blood cells as well as platelets.

    1 valueGeneral
    • Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)

EPA is an anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acid that supports heart and vascular health.

    Everything you need to know

What does a lab or preventive examination at avi cost?

Our lab and preventive examinations are usually paid optional services. The price varies depending on the scope and is based on the German fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ). Private health insurances usually cover the fees depending on your individual plan. You'll find the exact price on the detail page of each service.

What do I need to consider before a blood test?

Please arrive fasting for your appointment. This means not eating anything for at least 8-12 hours before the examination and only drinking water.

When will I receive my lab results?

Your lab results will be delivered directly to the avi app, usually within a few days. In the follow-up consultation with your doctor, you'll discuss the results and possible next steps.

In which practices can I book lab examinations?

We offer lab examinations at our practices in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Stuttgart. Available locations for each examination are shown directly during the booking process.

What is a vitamin infusion course and who is it for?

Vitamin infusion courses such as the Vitamin C or Medivitan course are optional services for targeted nutrient supply. They can be useful for fatigue, increased stress levels, or general support. In a preliminary consultation, we'll determine whether the course is suitable for you.

What happens in the follow-up consultation after a lab examination?

In the follow-up consultation, you'll discuss the results of your examination with your doctor. Together, you'll interpret the values and discuss possible next steps or preventive measures.
