Your Role

As a People & Culture intern you will be involved in different tasks and challenges within the Human Resources arena and support not just the People & Culture team but also other departments to help Avi Medical to fulfill its vision. This role is the best opportunity to learn directly from colleagues experienced in  Recruiting, Talent Management, Learning and development as well as in People Operations; from 360-funnel management and elevating candidate experience, all the way to on-boarding and event planning. You will learn the ins and outs of building teams in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a high growth company.

Your Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with the founders and People team to understand their hiring needs and how to implement a successful recruitment plan.
• Screen applicants and own the candidate experience in the funnel - the coordination and organization of next steps in the recruiting process alongside the hiring managers.
• Conduct first round interviews for junior positions across the company, screening for cultural and motivational fit 
• Continuous improvement of our job descriptions and keeping track of job postings across different channels
• Support and elevate active sourcing strategies to attract the best talent. 
• Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
• Assist the People’s team in organizing career fairs and special events.

Your Profile

• Graduated/About to graduate in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or a related field
• Prior work/internship experience in HR and Recruitment (experience in a Startup is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and empathetic nature
• Strong organization and execution skills
• Passionate, charismatic and enterprising personality
• Fluency in both German and English
